From a simple idea to a community movement
When I started valuing community more deeply, I thought it would be super cool if I could buy land with friends or people I genuinely liked and connected with. The more I thought about it, the more I realized other people probably felt the same way - that desire to build something meaningful together.
In our increasingly disconnected world, we've lost touch with the fundamental processes that sustain us. Most people don't know where their food comes from, how to repair what breaks, or how to create what they need. But I knew there had to be others who wanted to live closer to the land and closer to each other.
So I decided to build this site using v0.dev, an AI-powered site builder. I wanted to focus on solving the real problem - connecting people who share this vision - rather than getting bogged down in technical details.
